acceptable use policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes what you may and may not do with the Aquin CLI, web dashboard, and related services provided by Aquin Labs.

This AUP applies to all users. It supplements our Terms of Service. By using Aquin, you agree to follow this policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account, API keys, and CLI tokens.

permitted use

You may use Aquin for lawful research, development, inspection, analysis, and internal business purposes, subject to your license plan and any applicable software license. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party model licenses.

prohibited content and conduct

You may not use Aquin to:

  • Inspect, train, edit, simulate, or deploy models intended to generate or facilitate harmful, illegal, abusive, harassing, hateful, or deceptive content
  • Develop, test, or improve systems for fraud, malware, unauthorized surveillance, weapons, or other activities that pose serious risk of harm
  • Process, store, or analyze data you do not have the legal right to use, including personal data without a lawful basis
  • Violate the license terms of any base model, dataset, or third-party software you load through Aquin
  • Upload malware, exploit code, or other malicious content
  • Circumvent safety, access, or license controls in Aquin or any integrated service

platform integrity

You may not:

  • Share, sell, or expose API keys, CLI tokens, or account credentials to unauthorized parties
  • Attempt to access another user's data, sessions, or account without permission
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Aquin infrastructure without prior written consent from Aquin Labs. See our Security & Responsible Disclosure policy for how to report issues
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services, including through excessive automated requests, abuse of sync or analyst features, or attempts to overload systems
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from proprietary Aquin components except where expressly permitted by law and your license
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide Aquin as a hosted service to third parties without a separate commercial agreement
  • Use Aquin to build or operate a directly competing product or service

your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the models, datasets, prompts, and outputs you create or process with Aquin. Model outputs may be inaccurate or inappropriate. Validate results before deployment or use in production, safety-critical, or legally consequential contexts.

If you use Aquin on behalf of an organization, you are responsible for ensuring all users under your account follow this AUP.

reporting violations

To report suspected misuse, security issues, or AUP violations, contact aquin@aquin.app. Include relevant account details, command or session IDs, and a description of the concern. We review reports in good faith and may take action at our discretion.

enforcement

Aquin Labs may investigate suspected violations, request additional information, restrict features, revoke API keys or CLI tokens, suspend accounts, or terminate access without prior notice when we believe this policy or our Terms of Service has been violated or when required to protect users, Aquin Labs, or the public.

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-platform notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

This AUP should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Questions? Reach us at aquin@aquin.app or aquin.explore@gmail.com.
