At the bottom of Lucid's sidebar sits an button, with just a click, a popover window popups, displaying a your clipboard history. With:
- Visual + Textual Memory: Both screenshots/images and text snippets coexist in this space
- Intuitive Interaction: Drag and drop any element directly into your workspace
- Memory Management: Selectively remove items, recopy with a click, or clear your history entirely
The clipboard feature transcends mere utility. It represents a luminous bridge between intention and action, collapsing the space between "I want to use this" and actually using it. In this way:
- Are accessible to everyone (from 7-year-olds to 80-year-olds)
- Increase productivity through clarity of purpose
- Remove barriers between thought and digital expression
The Luminous Bridge
When we copy something, we're essentially saying "this matters enough to remember." Lucid honors that intention by creating a visual palette of these which are not hidden in system buffers or complicated panels, but displayed clearly, ready for reuse.
This approach represents the philosophical concept of "ekstasis" (standing outside oneself), where our thinking extends beyond our physical boundaries into the tools we use. The clipboard becomes not just a feature but an extension of our creative process.
