Terms of Service

Aquin grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the platform for your personal or internal business purposes. The Services include model upload and inspection, weight-level editing, fine-tuning (SFT, LoRA, QLoRA), dataset management, and trained model storage and download.

All sessions and training jobs run in dedicated, isolated GPU instances on Google Cloud Platform that self-terminate upon completion. Your data is never shared with or accessible to other users. Aquin retains all rights to its platform infrastructure. You retain full ownership of everything you upload and everything you produce.

When you reference a public HuggingFace model, you are responsible for ensuring your use complies with that model's license. Aquin makes no warranties about third-party model performance or fitness for purpose.

You retain all rights to your uploaded models, datasets, trained models, inspection session data, and edit snapshots. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of everything you upload.

You grant Aquin the right to use your data solely to execute your sessions and jobs, store your files on your behalf, provide support when requested, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for any other purpose, including improving Aquin's platform or training our own systems.

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256 via Cloudflare R2). You can download or delete your data at any time from your dashboard.

You may not use Aquin to upload, train, inspect, edit, or deploy models intended to generate harmful, illegal, abusive, or deceptive content; train on data you don't have the rights to use; violate any base model's license terms; upload malware or malicious content; attempt unauthorized access to other users' data or platform infrastructure; or resell or sublicense access to the Services.

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting your credentials, validating model outputs before deployment, complying with applicable AI and data protection regulations, and maintaining your own backups of training data and models.

Trained models may produce inaccurate, biased, or inappropriate outputs. You are solely responsible for validating, monitoring, and governing the use of any model you produce or edit through Aquin. Do not rely solely on model outputs for critical or legally consequential decisions.

Aquin reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice. To report misuse, contact aquin@aquin.app.

Aquin operates on a subscription model with $12/month for current beta only. Pricing details are available at aquin.app. All payments are processed by Dodo Payments — Aquin does not collect or store your payment credentials. By making a purchase, you agree to Dodo Payments' terms.

All charges are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or at Aquin's sole discretion. Aquin reserves the right to modify pricing with reasonable prior notice. Access may be suspended for accounts with lapsed or failed subscription payments.

Each party warrants it has full authority to enter into this Agreement.

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. AQUIN DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, AND WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES ABOUT TRAINING JOB OUTCOMES, INSPECTION RESULTS, EDIT OUTCOMES, OR MODEL OUTPUTS.

This Agreement begins when you first access the Services and continues until terminated. Either party may terminate for material breach with 30 days' written notice. Aquin may immediately suspend or terminate access for violations of Section 3.

Upon termination, your access ends immediately. You will have 30 days to download your models and datasets before they are permanently deleted. It is your responsibility to download anything you wish to retain before account closure.

NEITHER PARTY SHALL BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. AQUIN'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aquin against any claims arising from your breach of this Agreement, misuse of the Services, the content or legality of your data, your models and their outputs, or your violation of third-party rights including applicable model licenses.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-platform notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. This Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Aquin regarding the Services.
