User Content: When using cloud-based AI models (like Claude Sonnet 4), your messages and files may be processed by third-party AI providers. When using local AI models, this content stays entirely on your device.
Voice Data: When you use voice features, audio is processed locally on your device or sent to speech processing services, depending on your settings.

Local Data Processing

Files you upload, screenshots you capture, and browser tabs you access are processed locally on your device when using local AI models. This data does not leave your computer unless you specifically use cloud-based AI features.

Deliver and improve Aquin Lucid and your user experience
Process your AI queries using local or cloud-based models

Local Processing

When you use local AI models:

All your data stays on your device
No internet connection required
Complete privacy and offline functionality
Files, screenshots, and voice data never leave your computer

Cloud Processing

When you use cloud AI models (Pro features):

Your messages are sent to AI providers like Anthropic
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
Third-party AI providers have their own privacy policies
You control when to use cloud and local models

Do We Share Your Personal Information?

We only share your personal information in these specific circumstances:

AI Service Providers: When you use cloud-based AI models, your queries are sent to providers like Anthropic (Claude) or other AI services
Payment Processors: Your billing information is processed by secure payment providers
